1. Agreement to Terms

By subscribing to, accessing, or using Dream Midwifery on Substack (”the Publication”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not subscribe or access the Publication.

2. Description of Services

Dream Midwifery is a Substack publication offering spiritual education and personal transformation content that combines Celtic mythology with shamanic practices. The Publication provides written articles, podcast episodes, ritual guidance, mythological teachings, and community discussion. The Publication is operated by Jennifer Murphy and Sarah Richardson (”we,” “us,” or “our”).

3. Subscription and Payment

• Subscriptions are processed through Substack’s payment system

• Subscription fees are charged according to the plan selected (monthly or annual)

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Substack account settings

• Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period

• We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers

4. Refund Policy

• Refunds may be requested within 14 days of subscription if you have not accessed subscriber-only content

• Once you have accessed subscriber-only posts, audio content, or podcast episodes, no refunds will be provided except as required by law

5. Educational and Spiritual Purpose

The content provided through Dream Midwifery is for educational, spiritual development, and personal transformation purposes only.

Please understand:

• The practices, rituals, and teachings shared are spiritual and educational in nature

• “Midwifery” in our context refers to the metaphorical birthing of new aspects of self, personal transformation, and creative manifestation — not physical pregnancy or childbirth

• Content includes spiritual practices, mythological study, ritual work, and embodiment practices

• Individual experiences and results from spiritual practices vary greatly

• We encourage you to approach all practices with discernment and self-responsibility

6. Not Medical or Mental Health Services

Dream Midwifery does not provide medical advice, mental health counselling, or therapeutic services.

You should:

• What is shared in the container stays in the container (maintain confidentiality)

We reserve the right to remove comments, restrict access, or ban subscribers for violations of these guidelines, without refund.

11. Personal Responsibility

By engaging with Dream Midwifery content and practices, you acknowledge:

• You are personally responsible for your spiritual practice and wellbeing

• Spiritual practices can evoke strong emotions, memories, or experiences

• You will approach all practices with appropriate self-care and discernment

• You will modify or discontinue any practice that doesn’t serve your wellbeing

• Your participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk

• You are responsible for your own experience and outcomes

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Publication

• We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of content

• We are not responsible for any outcomes, experiences, or consequences resulting from engagement with practices, rituals, or teachings shared in written or podcast content

• You use the Publication at your own risk

• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid for your subscription in the 12 months prior to any claim

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Irish law.

13. Data Protection and Privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Substack’s Privacy Policy.

Your Rights: You have the right to:

• Access your personal data

• Request deletion of your personal data

• Object to processing of your personal data

• Request restriction of processing

What we collect:

• Information you provide when subscribing (name, email address)

14. Substack Platform

Dream Midwifery is hosted on the Substack platform. Your use of the Publication is also subject to Substack’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Substack’s terms, Substack’s terms shall prevail regarding platform functionality, payment processing, and technical matters.

15. Testimonials and Results

Any testimonials or examples of experiences shared through Dream Midwifery represent individual experiences and are not guarantees of similar outcomes. Spiritual transformation and personal development are unique to each individual, and results vary significantly.

16. Third-Party Links and Resources

The Publication may contain links to third-party websites, resources, books, or tools mentioned in articles or podcast episodes. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of these external sites or services. Mention of third-party resources does not constitute endorsement unless explicitly stated.

17. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers via email or publication announcement at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Publication after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription.

18. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any aspect of the Publication

• Change content offerings, publication schedule, or podcast frequency

• Suspend or terminate the Publication with reasonable notice where practicable

19. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Dream Midwifery for violation of these Terms and Conditions. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy any breach before termination.

You may terminate your subscription at any time through your Substack account settings.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
